Silk Shaving Soap
Fabulous shave soaps in 3 varieties. Premium ingredients include castor oil, olive oil, silk fibers, and clay for a fantastic slip and a long lasting fluffy lather. Does not contain preservatives, SLS or artificial ingredients.
All Natural Silk Shaving Soap 100% natural premium shave soaps. This soap produces a thick, fluffy, conditioning lather. It's a wonderful shave experience! The Unscented Aloe & Green Tea is extra conditioning for sensitive skin with calendula oil, aloe, and kaolin clay for a good slip that is not drying. The Bay and Spiced Tangerine are also conditioning and contain bentonite clay for a superior slip. These tins are priced a little lower because the labels are not as waterproof as I was hoping. The next set of soaps will be labeled differently. They're still fabulous though!! Review: I have been using a tin of Bay Rum Spice shave soap from the Mom and Pop Soap Shop located on the internet at http://www.momandpopsoapshop.com/. Based out of Michigan, Mom and Pop offer a wide selection of high quality, hand made soaps. They also offer custom soaps available by request. From the first time I put brush to soap I realized I was in for a treat. The lather produced was rich and full and went on very easy. As I began the shave I noticed I was getting a very smooth shave with a lot less drag than with other soaps I have bought from stores and larger internet suppliers. When I finished with the initial shave I discovered, to my surprise, that I didn't need to lather up again for a finishing shave. I was smooth to the touch the first time. With store bought soaps, I always had to shave twice to get the smoothness I wanted, even with a new blade. But with soap from Mom and Pop Soap Shop, one pass was all it took. The after scent from the soap was pleasant but not over-powering. I was able to use my standard after-shave with out the two clashing. I have used it for a few weeks now and I will say that I plan on using this soap for the foreseeable future.
