Specialty Soaps
A young girl at a recent craft show really broke my heart. She was having a great time smelling all of my soaps and was begging her mom to get some. Her mom said "No, honey. You know what happens when you have things that are scented or colored." Then I saw her arms and her large open welts from eczema. I had unscented soaps to offer but she really wanted some of the blueberry dinosaurs or pretty pink butterflies. She asked me if I could make a blueberry smelling dinosaur without the scent and my heart just melted for her. I was kicking myself that I didn't have something special for kids! So when a friend of the family asked for soap for her granddaughters who are allergic to silk, artificial fragrance, colorants and shea butter, I delivered a specialty formula of lavender soap in the shape of butterflies. It was a big hit!
